Olympic Post a Day 7: Valentine’s Day in Olympic Vancouver

15 02 2010

Sunday I took in the town and the vibe – not attending anything official, but seeing everything I could, with my beautiful wife. A post in pictures!

At the Olympic Flame on Valentine's Day

At the CountUp Clock (Largest Canadian Flag in World as Background)

On Granville, with Chinese New Years also going off!

The Light Show (which isn quiet, chilled, and a great way to end any / every Olympic evening.)

The light show has been captured by much better photographers, check http://www.kitskam.com at night.

The lines to get into LiveCity Yaletown and LiveCity Downtown were crazy, especially the Yaletown site. Saw Mother Mother and Elliot Brood through the fencing. If there is a show you want to see downtown, you better be there early.

Today’s plan: Canada Women’s hockey in a LiveCity site, and then to the Atlantic Canada house for Sloan (also wonder if I’ll get in!)
